Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is located three degrees south of the equator in Northeastern Tanzania. It is the tallest mountain in Africa and is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. This immense mountain is made up of three volcanoes: Shira, Mawenzi, and our goal, Kibo, the tallest one in the middle - the roof of Africa - Uhuru Peak. Mount Kilimanjaro is one the famous highest seven summits in the world, however, this one is the easiest to get to and the easiest to climb. It requires no technical climbing experience, and any moderately fit person can summit Mount Kilimanjaro.
Who Can Climb Mount Kilimanjaro?
Almost anyone with good general health, a determined mindset, and reasonable physical fitness can climb Mount Kilimanjaro, as it requires no technical mountaineering skills or specialized ropes and ice axes. Climbers range in age from teenagers (minimum legal age is 10) to active seniors in their 70s and 80s.

Our group climbs are led by professional guides with years of climbing experience, the guides conduct daily health checks and monitor oxygen levels. We maintain a high guide-to-client ratio (often 1 guide per 2–3 climbers) to ensure every participant receives an equal share of individual attention for the entire climb period. For every group climb, we limit participants up to 7 people maximum.
Generally speaking, expect 1 guide per 2 hikers, 1 assistant guide per 3 hikers, and 1 cook per 8 hikers. Porters as follows:
2 porters per hiker on the 5-day Marangu Route and Mt. Meru (minimum of 4 porters)
3 porters per hiker on a 6 or 7-day trek (minimum of 5 porters)
4 porters per hiker on the 8-day Lemosho Route (minimum of porters)
Sometimes extra porters are required based on the weight of the luggage.

Spaces (Spots) Availability & Pricing
Please be advised, since we limit our climbs to 7 participants maximum, then availability cannot be guaranteed for any group climb date until your booking has been confirmed. We therefore recommend securing your preferred climbing date as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Once your climb has been confirmed and your deposit has been received, your agreed price is locked in and will not be affected by any subsequent price increases.
Payment Terms
A deposit of US$99 per person is required to confirm your Kilimanjaro booking. The remaining balance for your climb will be paid in cash in US Dollars (or its equivalent amount in Euros or British pounds sterling), the balance to be paid on the day of your arrival in Tanzania, before the climb begins.
The start date listed is the first day on the mountain. You should plan on being in Moshi town anytime the day before the start date. All prices are quoted in US Dollars.
