7 Days Tanzania Camping Safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1: Arusha Nat. Park 

Pick up from your hotel and depart at 9.00am for Arusha National Park with your lunch boxes for a full day tour of the park, including the option of walking tour with a park ranger. Dinner and overnight at Mvuli Hotel or a similar hotel in Arusha.

Day 2: Tarangire 

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire NP for a full day game drive, in the evening drive to Mto-Wa-Mbu town village for dinner and overnight at a campsite.

Day 3: Lake Manyara 

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara Park for full day game drives with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at a campsite.

Day 4: Serengeti 

Depart Manyara after breakfast for Serengeti National Park with a game drive en route. After a picnic lunch, proceed with an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Seronera or Lobo Campsite.

Day 5: Serengeti 

Full day of game viewing in Serengeti with picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight at a campsite.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro 

Following your morning game drive, depart for Ngorongoro Crater with a game drive en route and an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge Museum. Dinner and overnight will be at Simba Campsite.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha 

After an early breakfast descend into the crater floor for a half day crater tour – departing mid afternoon for Arusha to arrive early evening. End of our services.

Safari Packing List - Clothing for Your Safari in Tanzania

Remember, it’s not a fashion show out there, so be a bit more practical when choosing your safari wardrobe. Try to stay away from bright colours – khaki and other neutral colours tend to work well. It is probably best if you dress in layers since it can get cold, but also very hot.
